How do I sell an item to Revive Sports?+
Complete our online selling form and upload clear photos of your item, including any labels, product codes and signs of wear. We will review the information and send you an offer. If you accept it, we will provide instructions for sending the item to us.
Do you buy damaged or well-worn items?+
Sometimes. We may still consider items with marks, bobbling, pulls, cracked printing or other signs of wear. However, heavy cracking to a sponsor or printed details, significant pulls, or extensive bobbling to the fabric can substantially reduce an item’s value. Please photograph and describe all faults clearly when submitting your item.
Do you buy large collections?+
Yes. You can submit multiple items through our selling form. For particularly large collections, you can contact us directly and email photos, an item list or a video showing the collection to help us carry out an initial review. Depending on the size and location of the collection, we may be able to arrange collection instead of asking you to post everything.
Can I bring items to you in person?+
An in-person drop-off may be possible, but only after the items have been submitted through our normal selling process and a price has been agreed. We will inspect the items in the same way as posted items before confirming the final value and payment. Please do not travel until a date and time have been arranged with us.
How can I get the most accurate valuation?+
Provide clear front and back photos, close-ups of the labels and product code, the size, and the season if known. Photograph any namesets, sleeve patches, damage or other important details. Natural daylight usually produces the clearest images, but avoid strong shadows and make sure the item’s colours are shown accurately.
How long will it take to receive an offer?+
We aim to review your submission and send an offer within 24 hours of receiving your photos, Monday to Friday. Submissions made during weekends or bank holidays may take a little longer.
How long is my offer valid?+
Each offer is valid for 14 days from the time we send it. Your account will show the exact expiry date and time. An expired offer cannot be accepted, but you can contact us and we may review the items and issue a new offer.
Is the offer guaranteed?+
Our initial offer is based on the photos and information you provide. Once the item arrives, we will check its authenticity, condition and details before confirming the final value. If it differs significantly from the submission—for example, if there is heavy cracking to a nameset or sponsor that was not visible or disclosed—we may need to revise the offer.
Who pays for postage when I sell an item?+
You are normally responsible for arranging and paying for postage unless we agree otherwise. Once you accept our initial offer, we will provide the posting instructions. Please pack the item securely, use a tracked service and keep your proof of postage, as the item remains your responsibility until it is delivered to us.
How should I package a football shirt?+
Make sure the shirt is clean and completely dry, then fold it loosely. Avoid folding directly across the sponsor, nameset, numbers or other printed details—fold around these areas wherever possible to prevent creasing or cracking. Package the shirt securely in either a suitable box or a clothing mailing bag, and never attach tape directly to the shirt.
How and when will I be paid?+
Payment is made by bank transfer or PayPal. As soon as you accept an offer, we will take you to a secure form for your payment destination. Those details are encrypted and kept for 14 days. If your parcel arrives after they have expired, we will send a fresh secure request so you can provide them again. Once we have received and checked the item and the final purchase has been agreed, payment is normally sent within two working days.
What happens if I do not accept a revised offer?+
If we revise the offer after inspecting your item, you can accept the new amount or ask for the item to be returned. We will normally pay the return postage unless the item’s condition or details differ greatly from the photos and information submitted. Our aim is always to honour the initial price, so accurate photos, honest descriptions and secure packaging help prevent any changes.
Do I need to live in the UK to sell to Revive Sports?+
Not at all. We are UK-based, but we are very keen to hear from sellers around the world. We welcome football shirts and official team sportswear from clubs, countries and leagues across the globe—especially items that are harder to find in the UK. Please contact us before sending anything internationally so we can agree on postage and delivery arrangements first.
Do I need to be 18 to sell to Revive Sports?+
Yes. You must be 18 or over and own the item or have the owner’s permission to sell it. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the submission and sell the item to us in their own name.
Do you buy unofficial or counterfeit items?+
No. We only buy authentic, official team sportswear. Genuine officially licensed fan or “replica” shirts can be considered, but counterfeit or otherwise unofficial items cannot be accepted. Please do not send an item if you know or suspect that it is counterfeit. If an item is rejected because it is counterfeit or unofficial, the seller will be responsible for any return postage, provided the item can lawfully be returned. We may report suspected counterfeit goods and follow any instructions given by the relevant authorities.
