Description

Shirt in good vintage used condition, with lightweight polyester fabric generally smooth throughout and no holes or pulls found. White collar and sleeve panels show some light general discolouration from age and wear, and the front JVC sponsor print has light surface cracking and faint grey marking as shown. Embroidered Arsenal crest badge and Nike Swoosh remain bright with a little fraying to the crest border, all stitching, hems and seams are securely attached, inner printed Nike neck branding shows some fading and the woven care labels include blue ink writing. Vintage official Arsenal mens home football shirt by Nike in classic red with white sleeves and JVC sponsor, from the 1996-1998 seasons. Front design features an embroidered Arsenal crest badge with 'THE GUNNERS' and 'Victoria Concordia Crescit' motto on the left chest, an embroidered white Nike Swoosh on the right and a large white JVC sponsor print across the centre of the chest. Shirt is made from lightweight Nike-Fit performance polyester in red through the main body with white raglan-style sleeves, navy side panels and trim, and a fold-over white collar with contrast navy inner insert plus a short V-notch at the front. Lower front hem carries a woven Nike Team Sports patch with size M detail and the wording 'Engineered to the exact specifications of championship athletes', along with a small black Nike-Fit tab on the opposite side. The back panel is predominantly red with matching navy side stripes and white sleeves, with no name or number print applied, offering a classic blank vintage look. Inner neck has printed Nike branding with size M information and 'Made in UK' text, while woven care labels inside the side seam list 100% polyester fabric composition with multi-language washing instructions and a 'KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE' warning.
